A new documentary series has captured the stories of Pasifika families who still call inner city Auckland home. Directed by Litia Tuiburelevu and produced by Torisse Laulu, “Still Here” is a four part series that was launched last week. Many Pacific families first settled in the suburbs like Ponsonby, Grey Lynn and Herne Bay from the 1950s to 1970s but were pushed out by gentrification and urban renewal.
