2022 Pacific Music Award winner for Best Pacific/R&B artist Sam V shares a groovy new slow jam, ‘Sex & Pain’.
The song is the first single released off of Sam V’s upcoming EP, ‘The one, the lonely’.
‘Sex & Pain’ is a sultry mood-setter, with Sam V’s buttery vocals laid over a smooth, lush beat produced by CreationKit (TJ Buford) and frequent collaborator EDY. The artist says this song is about unpacking a deep, toxic desire for affection and intimacy.
The rising R&B singer is keeping the momentum going with this new release, with a music video directed by Tom Grut expecting to drop sometime soon.
Sam V has also announced an upcoming national tour starting next month in Hawkes Bay, heading through Wellington, Hamilton, Auckland and Christchurch.
