Auckland’s Pacific Wardens welcome new direction

This year NZ Police helped Auckland’s Pacific Wardens reach a new milestone with the amalgamation of the city’s seven warden groups — what they hope will allow them to better access funding and resources to continue their work in communities. Our reporter Moana Makapelu Lee caught up with one of its oldest groups, Samoa Atia’e, who have helped reduced the crime rates in their local area of Māngere.
