The introduction of an underwater fibre optic cable in the Kingdom of Tonga is set to bring high speed broadband and cut internet costs. The Government is working on a bill to target people who misuse the internet. And for the first time this year a call centre has been set up in Tonga to link to the newly installed fibre optic connection creating more jobs.
