Kiwi Polynesian metal band Shepherds Reign makes The Rock’s new workout playlist
Polynesian metal band Shepherds Reign has made it on to Dwayne Johnson aka The Rock’s new workout playlist on Spotify.
Shepherds Reign’s Le Manu is one of three songs fans chose for The Rock’s Progress Workout playlist, which has already gained over 38,000 followers on Spotify since yesterday.
“I have thousands of my favorite workout tracks but this list is only 30. I chose 27 of some of my personal favorites and now I need YOUR SUGGESTIONS so I can pick my last 3 songs,” The Rock posted to his 198 million followers on Instagram.

Le Manu is Shepherds Reign’s most popular so far, having racked up over 1.8 million views on YouTube since its release last December. The song is in full Samoan, inspired by the legend of an ancient Samoan warrior sent out to battle and represent his kingdom.
