TP+: Samoan actor to lead Pop-up Globe’s final production

Pop-up Globe is preparing to bid a final farewell to Kiwi audiences with its latest production, Emilia. Directed by Miriama McDowell and featuring a diverse all-female cast, Emilia tells the story of one of history’s most unsung feminist heroes. Samoan actor Fiona Collins is preparing to play the eldest version of Emilia, marking the first time a Polynesian female actor will play the lead role in a Pop-up Globe production.
