Emerging artist Vivian Hosking-Aue is known for his breathtaking and invigorating display of Pasifika couture. From feathers to tapa cloth to ropes, Vivian entwines intricate Pasifika elements in his garments to pay homage to his Pasifika roots.
As part of the 2021 Pacific Dance Festival, Vivian curated Te Pō, a fashion show that fuses his specialties in dance, choreography and fashion design. The theme of the show springs from te pō – the Cook Islands and Māori word for the night.
Vivian entered the fashion scene in 2018 with his clothing line AUE LTD, specialising in unique Pacific costuming with contemporary elements.
