This year there are more than 12,000 students performing at Auckland’s Polyfest. For most schools, this is a rite of passage – a chance to be the best, among the best.
But over on the North Shore, it’s a very different story. Even forming a group is a struggle. Out of the four shore schools competing on the Samoa Stage, for two of them it’s their very first time. Alistar Kata followed their journey.
