There are 21,000 physically disabled Māori and Pacific in Auckland alone, but as Moana Makapelu Lee found out not many team sports that can cater to them. But one Auckland based team, that is the Physical Disability Rugby League NZ team, are making some pretty big waves in league and they’re preparing for their biggest match yet, a curtain raiser clash before the Mate Ma’a Tonga vs Great Britain Lions game.
