For almost ten years, Alison Quigan has helped nurture young Māori and Pacific talent at the Māngere Arts Centre (MAC). She also co-directed and staged some of the Centre’s most successful productions.
Last week, Alison was given a farewell of epic proportions, and many of the creatives she had mentored and worked with came together to say goodbye.
“When you think of MAC, you think of Alison,” says actor and co-founder of Sau E Siva Creatives, Italia Hunt.
“This place is a testament to her, and it wouldn’t be the same without her – I truly believe that.”
