Popular Cook Island mini music festival ‘The Rage’ has been postponed until further notice.
Organisers Heimana Music Distribution Ltd took to social media last week to make the announcement.
“Due to the current Covid restrictions by the New Zealand government, Te Maeva Nui O Aotearoa New Zealand Charitable Trust has come to a decision to postpone The Rage, Cook Islands Mini Music Festival until further notice.
“We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause however we are confident that this decision is for the safety of our community.”
The good news is, the popular event is not completely cancelled but merely delayed to a more suitable time. It’s understood event organisers are currently considering a date in April as a potential option.
“Till then sit tight and keep safe. We have upcoming plans we cannot wait to share with you all.”
The self-styled hone of Cook Islands music, Heimana Music distribution record, produce and distribute some of the most memorable songs from the Cooks.
