A daughter of Rotuma, Fesaitu Solomone has been selected as the candidate to run for the Labour Party in the Tāmaki electorate in Auckland for this year’s general election to be held October 14.
Fesaitu took to social media to make the announcement and says she is humbled and blessed to be endorsed and supported to represent the Labour Party.
The communications specialist invites all voters to have their say, let their voice be heard and vote. Fesaitu says she looks forward to getting out and about in the electorate over the next five months which covers the suburbs of Glendowie, St Heliers, Kohimarama, Mission Bay, St John’s, Meadowbank, Stonefields and Glen Innes.
Nominations for candidates for the general election close at noon on Friday 15 September.
