Provisional results from Fiji General Elections 2022 puts Bainimarama ahead

Provisional results have been released for the top six party/candidates in Fiji as at 7am today. The Fijian Elections Office final results are set to be released on Sunday. More details are now available on the FEO Results App which was taken down late last night due to an anomaly in its system.

According to Pacnews Pina, with 1238 voting stations out of 2071 counting the results are as follows:

Party Votes:
Fiji First Party is in the lead with 162,084 votes
People’s Alliance Party follows with 115,358 votes
National Federation Party 32,809 votes
Social Democratic Liberal Party 16,202 votes
Fiji Labour Party 10,358 votes
Unity Fiji

Candidate votes:
Josiaia Voreque Bainimarama on 110,980 votes
Sitiveni Ligamamada Rabuka on 57,710 votes
Aiyaz Sayed Khaiyum on 19,781 votes
Biman Chand Prasad on 9389
Lynda Diseru Tabuya on 8380
Mahendra Pal Chaudhry on 5031
