As Toa Samoa advances to their first ever Rugby League World Cup semi-finals, supporters young and old came together to celebrate their historic win over Mate Ma’a Tonga (MMT) at Māngere Town Centre.
With just two points to spare, Toa Samoa beat MMT, 20-18, in a bruising match on Monday morning (NZST). Toa Samoa now has a chance to redeem themselves against England – their semi-final opponents – who dominated them 60-6 in their first game of the tournament.
