For 170 years, the World Expo has been a stage to share the work of the world’s greatest creators, inventors and designers.
The pandemic-delayed World Expo 2020 finally kicked off late last year, where many of our innovators and artists have made their way to Dubai to showcase just what Aotearoa can do.
This week, the Parris Goebel stage production ‘Voice of Youth – Wonderland’ made its debut on the Dubai stage.
Featuring a plethora of young and talented Kiwi creators, the live production is a mixture of song, dance, spoken word and drama.
Shared on the NZ at Expo Instagram, the show is described as a “‘Voice of Youth’ – a voice that is empowered, exciting, playful, fragile, loving, curious, emotional, naïve, optimistic, invincible, and full of life and energy.”
No doubt you’ll recognize some familiar faces from the Pasifika arts community including Panthers actor Rokalani Lavea and singer/songwriter PJ Tele’a.
A lively and breathtaking performance, Voice of Youth – Wonderland shows just how powerful and talented our youth truly are.
