All Pacific artists who released music in 2021 are eligible to enter the Pacific Music Awards (PMAs) nominations.
The PMAs Trust are encouraging as many Pasifika artists as possible to enter the awards this year.
Here are the main details for entries:
- Nominations for all the entered award categories are for local Pacific artists, i.e. New Zealand citizens/residents; except for the Best International Pacific Artist Award, which is open to Pacific artists from overseas.
- Pacific artists who have released singles, EPs or albums for sale, during the calendar year of 2021, i.e. 1 January – 31 December 2021, will be eligible to enter and need to check the details within the Terms & Conditions for the full criteria.
- All nominations must be submitted via the PMA entry system, and applicants are asked to provide information about the artist, including bio and contact details, together with audio files for music, photos and video links.

Entries close on Tuesday 10 May at 5pm.
The 2022 awards will take place on Thursday 4 August, at the Vodafone Events Centre in Auckland
