Ōtara-born music trio STNDRD release their much-anticipated debut album Jukebox, signifying a new chapter of their artistry.
Known for their hit tracks, ‘Poly People’ and ‘My Uso’, STNDRD keeps the ball rolling with their new 12-track album, Jukebox, a body of work that mixes neo-soul and R&B together with their Polynesian roots.
The album is crafted with a selection of songs to suit every mood, hence the name Jukebox.
It’s an authentic blend of smooth and sweet vocals over catchy melodies, a thing that STNDRD does best.
Jukebox features Richard Tiatia on ‘Keep Loving You’ and recent Pacific Music Award winner for Best Pacific Soul/R&B Artist Sam V, who is on the track named after the album.
The group also worked with renowned producers like SYGOTBEATZ, who has produced for big names like Blxst, Lisi and HP Boyz.
STNDRD started creating the album in early 2021 amidst the ever-changing landscape of the music industry, which was largely due to the effects of Covid-19. They wanted to give their fans something different, and are excited for them to see their creative growth.
Jukebox is out now on all major platforms.
