The APRA Silver Scroll Awards | Kaitito Kaiaka celebrate New Zealand’s songwriters and composers

The 2025 APRA Silver Scroll Awards | Kaitito Kaiaka will take place live from the Isaac Theatre Royal in Christchurch on Wednesday 29 October, with the ceremony kicking off at 8pm.
The APRA Silver Scroll Awards celebrate the artistry and achievements of Aotearoa’s songwriters and composers, recognising the creative voices that shape New Zealand’s musical landscape.
Alongside the prestigious APRA Silver Scroll Award | Kaitito Kaiaka, the evening will also honour excellence across a range of disciplines with the presentation of:
- The APRA Maioha Award
- The SOUNZ Contemporary Award | Te Tohu Auaha
- The APRA Best Original Music in a Feature Film Award | Tohu Pūmanawa
- The APRA Best Original Music in a Series Award | Tohu Paerangi
The ceremony will also celebrate those who have made a lasting impact on New Zealand’s music, life and culture with inductions into the New Zealand Music Hall of Fame | Te Whare Taonga Puoro o Aotearoa – Taniwha Hikuroa.
The 2025 APRA Silver Scroll Awards will be live-streamed and produced for APRA AMCOS NZ by Gather Productions.
