Award-winning New Zealand R&B/pop artist, Vince Harder is set to make waves in the music scene once again with his latest single, “Pretty Girl/Teine Aulelei.”
The track is deeply connected to Vince’s Samoan heritage, reflecting his love for Samoa and his family. The journey to this musical gem began five years ago when Vince was in Samoa with his family.
“The initial idea for this song started in 2018 when I was in Samoa with my family, my wife was pregnant with my 3rd daughter and I wanted to write something that represented them as well as my love for Samoa.”
However, life got in the way, and the song was nearly forgotten until recently when Vince stumbled upon the original audio files while rummaging through an old hard drive.
Vince’s roots are firmly embedded in the Samoan culture. Born and raised in West Auckland, he later moved to South Auckland during high school.
His mother’s family originating from Savai’i and his father’s from Aleisa in Upolu. Growing up surrounded by music, Vince’s passion for it led him to become a successful artist and producer.
While he’s not in the spotlight as an artist, Vince dedicates his time to crafting music for fellow artists and supporting their projects.
With a track record that includes chart-toppers like “Everything” with P-Money and “Say This With Me,” which reached number 39 on the New Zealand Singles Chart, Vince Harder is a respected figure in the music industry.
