AUCKLAND
Matala-Anzac 2021 – Fonuapuli-Missing Grave “Lest we forget”
An ANZAC day commemoration event held by the Tongan community in Auckland in honour of Tongan soldiers past and present. The event also aims to raise the awareness of the importance of ANZAC day with Pacific Island communities in South Auckland.

ANZAC Commemoration Service 2021 In Honour of Our WWI Cook Islands Soldiers
An ANZAC commemoration for the 500 Cook Islanders who enlisted to serve in the New Zealand armed forces during WWI, held by the Cook Islands ANZAC Committee.

WELLINGTON
ANZAC Day 2021 National Commemoration
Pukeahu National War Memorial will host a Dawn Service at 6am, followed by the 11am National Commemoration. The public is welcome to attend the National Commemoration, and are asked to be in place before the start time of 11am. Make sure to visit the Pacific Islands Memorial, which specially recognises the service of Pacific people over the years. The memorial takes the form of a 4m-high bronze conch shell designed by Michel Tuffery, known as Te Reo Hotunui o te Moana nui a Kiwa – The Deep of the Pacific.
