Tongan actor Mikey Falesiu presents the new TVNZ 2 kids game show called Brain Busters.
The show tests smarts and stamina, turning knowledge into dollars. Everyday kids from all around Aotearoa (600 to be specific) will be tested in Spelling, Maths, Te Reo Māori and more, before the top two tackle the ultimate obstacle course, the Brain Buster.
Think Ninja Warrior meets Who Wants to be a Millionaire (but for kids!).
Mikey has a history of performing arts, featuring as Sione in Auckland Theatre Company’s 2018 Sione’s Wedding Musical, and playing a lead role in Albert Mateni’s 2018 Hearts of Men. He is also an alumni of the Pacific Institute of Performing Arts [PIPA], and is also a teacher at Sir Douglas Bader Intermediate School.
Brain Busters launched this week and plays out weekdays at 4.10pm on TVNZ 2.
