Nora Swann’s Dressed In Confidence (DIC) programme has returned for 2021 to help empower Pasifika women to feel confident in themselves.
The creative entrepreneur recently held a charity fashion show in Auckland to help raise additional funds for DIC, which has proven increasingly popular across the region. This year she hopes to run DIC for teens at a young mother’s centre and continue Mama + Me – a bespoke version of DIC aiming to strength the relationship between mothers and their children.
The fashion show focused on the achievements of our Pasifika women role models and had an eco-fashion theme. Among the beautiful models who walked the stage was former Silver Ferns netball star Linda Vagana, who said it is a great opportunity to impart into our young people to be proud of who they are.
