Green Party MP Teanau Tuiono’s Private Members bill to repeal a 1982 Immigration Law which denied Samoans living in New Zealand from becoming Citizens was drawn from the ballot. The bIll would give people from Western Samoa born between 1924 and 1949, the right to Citizenship.
