Two men have been have arrested and charged with the murder of a South Auckland man in the early hours of Sunday.
The men, aged 26 and 28, have been jointly charged with the murder of Alex Moala.
They are due to appear in the Manukau District Court this morning.
Officers on 23 May were called to Beatty Street in Ōtāhuhu at about 2.15am.
Police have thanked the public for providing information to the investigation team over the past few days.
They are continuing to provide the family with support.
“We hope the arrests provide some form of comfort to Mr Moala’s family,” Counties Manukau CIB acting detective inspector Warrick Adkin said.
