The 79th session of the United Nations General Assembly kicked off in New York on Tuesday (US Time) amid escalating tensions in the Middle East.

And while the session looks to be dominated by the Israel conflict, a group of delegates and leaders from the Pacific Islands will continue to push their case for more action on Climate Change in the coming days.

Reporter, Seinafolava Sanele Chadwick is at the UN and filed this story from the Fossil Fuel and Nonproliferation Treaty press conference.
