Soul Session kicks off season 3 with a Matariki special to honour and celebrate the Māori New Year in Soul Session style this Friday.
Creator, host and award winning artist Sara-Jane says, “ I am blessed and excited to showcase the thriving gospel music scene in Aotearoa New Zealand. Each season builds on from the last and season three of Soul Sessions promises to be our most spectacular yet.”
The third season will feature live performances from artists in Aotearoa and Australia. The artists include Maisey Rika, award winning duo Adeaze, Julie Ta’ale and the Auckland Gospel Choir.
In an intimate moment on the show, Maisey Rika who is of Māori and Samoan heritage shares her journey and her love for music.
With support from NZ On Air, and our primary platform partner Sunpix, Soul Sessions will exclusively screen on the TP+ online platform. Soul sessions will also screen on Shine TV, Prime TV, RNZ and Pasifika TV.
Soul sessions offer an opportunity for audiences to immerse themselves in the power of music and conversation that uplifts and touches the soul.
