We are Pasifika – how is everything tracking towards the big night on stage?

We are Pasifika is a stage show being put on by the Manukau Symphony Orchestra and Matatamua Opeloge Ah Sam. It’s the start of a Pacific repertoire of orchestral music. The show will feature Pacific Islands soloists like Daphne Collins (Soprano), Eddie Muliaumaseali’i (Baritone) and Leila Alexander (Soprano). It’s a mix of some familiar favourites from various Islands and some new songs composed specially for the show. All of which will be backed by the Manukau Symphony Orchestra. This is being hailed as a first for Pacific in Orchestral music.
