The Tongan community turned out in droves to attend the New Zealand premiere of ‘For My Father’s Kingdom’, the first Pacific documentary feature film funded by the NZ Film Commission. Directed by Vea Mafile’o and Jeremiah Tauamiti, the film details the cultural and faith-based struggles between Tongan patriarch Saia Mafile’o and his four children.
