Pasifika women leaders recognised at the 2020 Women of Influence Awards

New Zealand’s first female MP of Pacific Island descent, Luamanuvao Dame Winnie Laban, became the first Pacific Island woman to receive the Lifetime Achievement award for her decades of service to the Pasifika community. Tupe Solomon-Tanoa’i received the Diversity Award, Aorere College Head Girl Aigagalefili Fepulea’i Tapua’i was awarded Young Leader, and Parris Goebel received the Arts & Culture award.
