Tongan actor Ilaisaane Green is making a name for herself across the Tasman starring in an Australian drama set in the future. In her first international role, Saane plays Rima, a young mother trying to save her family. Produced by platform ‘Stan’, Australia’s equivalent to Netflix, ‘The Commons’ showcases, among others, a Tongan family caught up in crisis.
