Fresh off her win for Most Promising Artist at the recent Pacific Music Awards, Jarna is making good on that promise with the release of her newest single, ‘Sometimes’.

This beautifully produced R&B track compliments JARNA’s effortless vocals and soothing harmonies she’s come to make her signature sound.

It all creates a simple and nod-inducing single that “makes enough room for the lyrics to help drive that want for needing more.”

JARNA says the song is “for those in a relationship that is feeling one-sided.”

What’s most endearing about JARNA’s music is her lack of fear in expressing her vulnerability and in an interview with NZ Musician, JARNA says ‘relatability’ is important for her.

“I think the majority of my topics are about relationships or about other people, and I think I usually write about what it’s like to be in a relationship, even though I’ve never been in one,” she said at the time.

“I usually write to other people’s experiences…I think now I’m getting more comfortable writing about my own experiences and my own feelings.”

‘Sometimes’ is out today on all major platforms.
