WATCH: Lani Alo – Tua i Manū (official music video)

After the success of his debut single ‘Alo i ou Faiva’ which hit over 2.6 millions views on YouTube, and picking up Best Pacific Gospel Artist and Best Pacific Song at the 2020 Pacific Music Awards, Lani Alo is back with his sophomore single release titled ‘Tua i Manū’.

Teaming up with long-time songwriting partner Livingstone Efu, the duo have penned another stunning Samoan anthem as a source of healing, direction, and uplifting for all during this current climate of COVID-19 and political tension.

‘Tua i manū’ is a prayer seeking God’s guidance and direction as we journey through these pressing and broken times. It is an acknowledgement that regardless of how prepared we are, it is inevitable that we will be met with roadblocks and trials.

“‘Tua i manū’ surrenders the reins to God with the knowledge and absolute faith that He will lead the way and provide a spirit of strength and encouragement to continue the journey and reach the end. ‘Ia tau ai i manu lenei folauga.’”

In the digital age of cryptocurrency, social media, climate change, political crisis and COVID-19, ‘Tua i manu’ is an opportunity to unmask and break the barriers caused by each and every one of these tensions and provide a clear path toward peace and prosperity.

Brought to you with support from NZ on Air, Dunedin, Canaan Ene, Brown Bruce Creatives, Lani Alo Music and 37 Hz.
