It was an emotional day for Dr Jemaima Tiatia, as family, friends and colleagues gathered at the University of Auckland for her induction as Pro Vice-Chancellor Pacific. A formal Yaqona ceremony was held to honour Tiatia, who is the university’s second Pro Vice-Chancellor Pacific and the first female in the role.
