In July this year, a big shake up of our health system happened with the birth of a new health structure, Health NZ or Te Whatu Ora. Officials have said it will mean better health outcomes, it’s led by a Samoan woman CEO Fepulea’i Margie Apa and this week the announcement of the new Director for Pacific Health has been made public, Markerita Poutasi.
