Ikale Tahi name 2019 World Cup Squad

In the wake of a narrow defeat to the Flying Fijians this past Saturday, Ikale Tahi coach Toutai Kefu released his World Cup squad on Monday in Hamilton, with 3 key names to bolster the squad he believes can make the Quarter-Final stages, for the first time in the nation’s history. Cancer survivor and Ikale Tahi stalwart, Nasi Manu, who missed the Pacific Nations Cup due to a pectoral injury makes a much anticipated return to the red jersey, along with livewire outside back, Telusa Veainu. One new cap was named in the form of Canterbury product, Siua Maile, who edged out veteran Elvis Taione for the teams final hooking slot.
