“One of the reasons I came back was to be part of the first Moana Pasifika team to win the competition,” (Ngani Laumape)

After solidifying this year as their greatest season ever to date, Moana Pasifika have added in another marquee signing with the inclusion of Ngani Laumape.

A proud son of Nukuhetulu and Folaha in Tonga, Laumape will join the side next year, bringing in a wealth of experience from his career.

And with all his experience, he hopes to elevate Moana Pasifika with it and lead them to a championship.

“One of the reasons I came back was to be part of the first Moana Pasifika team to win the competition” Laumape said

“Obviously there has to be a lot of hard work and a lot of things behind the scenes that we’ll have to do, Pretty inspiring and definitely motivating”

Coach Faalogo Tana Umaga added that he is amped to be working with a quality player like Ngani when next year rolls around.

“We’re excited to welcome Ngani to our Moana Pasifika aiga. He is a talented player who has proven himself on the international stage” Faalogo said.

Ngani is also a great person who has done well for himself and his family, and I know he’ll be able to integrate smoothly into our team environment”
