The Royal Commission of Inquiry into Abuse in Care is the largest of its kind in New Zealand history, looking into state and faith-based care abuse between 1950 and 1999. Pasifika were among the many affected and a public hearing in Māngere later this month will give them a platform to share their experiences, thanks to the commission's Pacific Investigation Team.
