Over 13,000 preschoolers across the country took part in this year’s Daltons Sunflowers in Kindergartens Project, with the aim of growing the tallest and widest sunflower in their region.
In Auckland, Mt Roskill Kindergarten took out the prize for the widest sunflower in the region, recording a diameter of 21cm.
We caught up with the school hours before the big announcement.
