Luti Tui’tupou Tribute

Paying tribute to the family of Mama Luti Tui’tupou family who sadly passed this week due to her battle with cancer. The Tui’tupou’s were part of the Unite against COVID-19 Family Time segment. They opened their home to the nation and enabled our Tongan language to be heard and our Pacific stories to be seen and shared nationwide.

In the wake of Mama Luti’s passing, today marks the birthday of her sweetheart Papa Viliami Tui’tupou.

We acknowledge Luti’s generous contribution to these stories. This is how we remember Mama Luti, always smiling, always dancing and always serving in her family and community.
