Samoan/Palagi artist Marley Sola first appeared on New Zealand screens on the TV show X-Factor with his boy band Moorhouse. Since then he’s embraced his independence and gone on to have a successful solo career – writing, recording, producing and mixing all his own music.
Marley shares stories about his upbringing in Christchurch, his music and his faith, and performs a powerful gospel duet with host Sara-Jane on this week’s episode of Soul Sessions.
Soul Sessions is a web series exploring New Zealand’s Pacific gospel music scene. New episodes out every Sunday at 7pm on TP+. Made with Support from NZ On Air.
